Grinding at our usual meeting place on a Friday afternoon…the Brampton Hills!! Rogers Communications staff and Training Ground Muay Thai students preparing for the Warrior Dash in July with 10 runs up the hill. One of the most rewarding things to hear was one of our runners say that they could only complete 2 sets last week (yet they pushed themself to 5 sets). Even better was to see them use the experience from last week, use those 5 sets as a base and push themself to a new high of 6 reps this week! It should only take one more week before she can pound out all 10 sets and everyone will be there to celebrate the achievement!
For those of you that can pull this off easily, add 20 pushups between each set for an added challenge between sets…just DO IT!!
